The Festival started eleven years ago in Calgary, and then expanded into Edmonton in 2002 and to Red Deer in 2006. The first annual Banff Festival was held on May 31, 2008. We’ve been growing strong in consumers since the beginning, boasting 10-50% growth in consumers each and every year. Our consumers are wealthy, dynamic people who love food and wine. Exhibitors include wineries, wine agents, adult beverage agents, distilleries, breweries, restaurants, hotels, and gourmet food purveyors such as chocolate, cheese, olives and gelato. Exhibitors take great pride in creating an appealing booth, adding friendly staff, and tempting samples. Most booths sample food or beverages; however a small amount of space is available for promotional exhibitors.
