TICKETS
Tickets are day specific and only valid for one session. Each session is the same. An entrance ticket brings you into the Grand Tasting Hall where you can purchase Festival sampling coupons, allowing you to customize what you try and how much you spend.

**Please note that tickets at the door are based on availability. Tickets will not be sold at the door if the Tasting Session sells out prior to the event.
FRONT OF THE LINE
Although line-ups are not anticipated, they may be present during peak arrival times. Take the fast-track to flavour with a Front of the Line Ticket. A Front of the Line Ticket guarantees immediate entrance entry into the Grand Tasting Hall through an exclusive entrance, and includes a welcome chocolate, sample of bubbly, bottle of water coupon, and access to a private coat check!
CORPORATE
Corporate tickets were available for groups of 20 or more on Friday or Saturday. Please email chantel@rockymountainwine.com for information on Corporate tickets.
SAMPLING COUPONS
Sampling coupons are available for $0.50 and can be purchased at the Grand Tasting Hall. Samples range from 1 to 20 or more coupons, depending on the item.

On October 21st and 22nd, 2011 the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival returned for its 10th year in Edmonton! Attendees sampled an impressive selection of premium wines, spirits, and import and micro-brewed beer, as well as cuisine from a diverse group of Edmonton's top restaurants, food purveyors and hotels. Guests enjoyed a mouthwatering array of beverage samples and Edmonton's top eats within a fun, relaxed, and social atmosphere.
The Grand Tasting Hall
The Edmonton Grand Tasting Hall featured a distinguished collection of wines from around the globe, premium spirits, single malt and blended scotches, port, specialty liqueurs, and import and micro-brewed beer. Offering something for everyone, products ranged from value-based to ultra-exclusive. The Grand Tasting Hall offered a unique opportunity to explore new products, interact with experts and discover new finds. With an onsite liquor store, attendees were able to pick up new and exciting finds and old favourites on the spot!

We would like to congratulate the winner of the Grand Sample Search – Sunterra Market. Consumers voted the slow-roasted Chipotle beef brisket, handcrafted crepes, selection of domestic and international cheeses, and cheese fondue as their favourite food samples at this year's Festival! Second place went to Sawmill Prime Rib & Steakhouse who served escargot en croute, prime rib and lemon tart, and placing third was Guru Restaurant who served butter chicken samosas, steak bites and masala vadas.
This year, attendees were given the opportunity to meet award winning winemaker Charles Smith and friends, at the Black and White wine booth, hosted by Purple Valley. We'd like to extend a big thanks to Charles Smith and friends for attending this year's Festival and making it extra special for our attendees.
Wine Access International Value Wine Awards
The Wine Access International Value Wine Awards were back at this year's Festival! Attendees enjoyed the exclusive chance to sample medal winning wines from the 2011 Wine Access International Value Wine Awards. This award program seeks to find the best wines available in Canada that retail for $25 or less. Check out the 2011 competition results.
Dairy Farmers of Canada Cheese Seminars
Throughout the tasting sessions, consumers were invited to attend complimentary Cheese Seminars hosted by the Dairy Farmers of Canada. Consumers gained valuable knowledge on Canadian cheese made from 100% Canadian milk, wine pairing suggestions and other interesting information while enjoying complimentary samples of cheese.
Sunshine Village Door Prize
This year’s Grand Prize at the Edmonton Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival was an All-Inclusive Weekend Getaway for two at the beautiful Sunshine Mountain Lodge! The winner will escape for an evening away at Banff's only ski-in, ski-out hotel in the heart of the Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard Resort. They will enjoy two night's accommodation, VIP parking, dinner for two at Chimney Corner restaurant, and a couple's spa treatment. The Grand Sample Search
While guests indulged in the wide selection of gourmet food samples offered at the Festival, they could note their favourite restaurant's sample for a chance to win four Front of the Line tickets and $100 in sampling coupons to next year's Festival. Congratulations to Sunterra Market the winner of the 2011 Grand Sample Search! Runners-up included Sawmill Prime Rib & Steakhouse and Guru Restaurant.
The Experience Charity Auction
On Thursday October 20th, 2011 Liquor Depot hosted The Experience, an evening of gourmet food, fine wine, premium beer, high end spirits and exclusive silent auction items. This all-inclusive event offered attendees a preview of the Edmonton Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival, along with the opportunity to participate in an unforgettable silent auction. All profits from this event were donated to the University Hospital Foundation's campaign for Prostate Health and the Edmonton Opera. Read more…
