New to the Edmonton Festival, Dairy Farmers of Canada will be hosting complimentary Cheese Seminars throughout the Festival. These seminars will be hosted by renowned Chef and cheese expert Reg Hendrickson, who is a staple at some of the largest wine and cheese shows across the nation. Consumers are invited to learn about our sensory reaction to cheese while sampling six different types of cheese from local and national cheese producers. Ideas and tips on how to best pair wine and cheese will also be given. These seminars have been very popular in previous years so be sure to check the seminar schedule and arrive early to get a seat. Seminars attendance will be on a first come - first served basis.

Another new and exciting event will be hosted at this year's Edmonton Festival. Consumers are invited to the Remy Martin Cognac Seminar where they will sample three Remy Martin Cognacs including VSPO, XO and the very rare Extra grade. Learn about Cognac terroir, culture and history, and much more from Canada’s foremost Cognac expert and Sommelier, Dan Volway. A pairing with Kerstin's Chocolates will also be included. Click on the wine cork at the top of the page to purchase tickets. This seminar is $20 plus the price of admission.

Sunshine Village has generously sponsored the 2008 Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival door prize at each Festival.
