The 2007 Grand Tasting Hall brought together an array of Edmonton and area restaurants, food producers and hotels to cook up sensational samples ranging from butter chicken to goat cheese tarts; dark chocolate to artisan cheese; and fresh prawns to steamed mussels in a trio of sauces. An enormous wine selection including all the medal winning wines from the 2007 Vino Awards were featured, along with scotch, port, and other premium adult beverages.
$1 from every ticket sold to the Grand Tasting Hall was donated to the NAIT School of Hospitality to create scholarships for culinary students.
