We are truly ecstatic to announce that the Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival is heading to the Rocky Mountains!
The Banff Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival will be very similar to the already popular Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer Festivals, presenting a wide selection of wine, port, scotch, import beer, and other premium spirits, along with sensational food samples prepared by Banff restaurants and hotels. Held at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and Resort with the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop, the Festival will maintain its social, relaxed atmosphere in this beautiful venue.
Your entrance ticket will bring you into the Grand Tasting Hall where you will purchase Festival sampling coupons. By using sampling coupons, you will be able to customize what you try and how much you spend. Sampling coupons are 50 cents each. Sample prices start at a minimum of $1 and vary depending on the value of the product you are sampling.
The wine and products at the Banff Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival will range from inexpensive to ultra-expensive; introductory wines to rare and unique wines. Beginner, intermediate and expert wine drinkers are all encouraged to attend. Click here for a list of wineries and other beverages that will be poured at the Banff Festival. Banff and Lake Louise restaurants will offer an array of gourmet food samples such as appetizers, imported cheese, mini-main dishes and desserts. There are two sessions for the Grand Tasting Hall. Each session is exactly the same. Please note that you need to decide which session you would like to attend. Each entrance ticket is only valid for one session - the afternoon or evening session. We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the start time to have your ticket scanned and receive your tasting glass before the doors open.
